Esto es lo que La revista especializada \u00abFIRMENAUTO\u00bb prob\u00f3 en la primavera de 2012.<\/p>\n<p>El momento era bueno porque, en aquella \u00e9poca, los precios de la gasolina solo apuntaban en una direcci\u00f3n: en picado hacia arriba. Y parece que el autog\u00e1s merece la pena: desde luego es barato y ya en 2012 hab\u00eda en Alemania m\u00e1s de 6.000 lugares para repostar. Por tanto, motivo suficiente para analizar con detenimiento el VW Caddy Bifuel.<\/p>\n<h2>VW Caddy 1.6 Bifuel con motor de gasolina MPI<\/h2>\n<p>El motor empleado en la prueba fue el motor propio de gasolina MPI, adaptado para autog\u00e1s y con una cilindrada de 1,6 litros. En aquellos momentos, el cliente pod\u00eda escoger entre el\u20281.2 TSI con 102 CV por 15.190 euros y el Gas-Caddy de 98 CV. En opini\u00f3n de los probadores, no resulta excesivo pagar un suplemento de apenas 1.800 euros por la conversi\u00f3n a gas. Al contrario: para la conexi\u00f3n del dep\u00f3sito, los instaladores independientes suelen hacer un orificio en la parte trasera de la carrocer\u00eda. VW, por el contrario, oculta los empalmes para el gas y los protege correctamente bajo la tapa del dep\u00f3sito. Tambi\u00e9n integra limpiamente el indicador del dep\u00f3sito en los instrumentos.<\/p>\n<p>Hasta aqu\u00ed, perfecto. Pero \u00bfc\u00f3mo se conduce la VW Caddy 1.6 Bifuel? Durante la prueba, el motor trabaja casi directamente con GLP. Seg\u00fan los expertos, la Caddy trabaja mejor con gas que, por ejemplo, la Skoda Octavia Combi, que tiene el mismo motor (se nota el menor peso de la furgoneta). El VW se desplaza por ciudad a bajas revoluciones, navegando tranquilamente entre el tr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n<h2>No es un deportivo, pero es econ\u00f3mica<\/h2>\n<p>Los redactores especializados no disfrutaron tanto de la traves\u00eda por autopista: a partir de 120 km\/h los ruidos en la cabina se volvieron inc\u00f3modos, con un motor que superaba las 4.000 revoluciones. No es por tanto de extra\u00f1ar que los probadores echaran en falta una sexta marcha. En su opini\u00f3n, hay que pensarse muy bien los sprints para adelantar, la Caddy solo consigue agilidad a una velocidad alta si se reduce la marcha. En quinta, necesita casi 23 segundos para pasar de 60 a 100 km\/h, una eternidad.<\/p>\n<p>A cambio, la VW Caddy 1.6 Bifuel triunfa en cuanto a los costes de repostaje. En el trayecto de prueba normalizado, la furgoneta tuvo un consumo de 10,9 litros de GLP a los 100 km, lo que tiene un coste aproximado de 8,30 euros. Esto volvi\u00f3 a alegrar a los probadores.<\/p>\n<p>Quien no necesite cargar mucho y suela moverse por ciudad, encontrar\u00e1 un buen aliado en la 1.6 Bifuel.
