Le magazine sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9 FIRMENAUTO s&rsquo;est pench\u00e9 sur cette question au printemps 2012.<\/p>\n<p>La p\u00e9riode choisie \u00e9tait id\u00e9ale, car les prix de l&rsquo;essence ne connaissaient alors qu&rsquo;une seule direction\u00a0: en fl\u00e8che vers le haut. Et le GPL semble tirer son \u00e9pingle du jeu\u00a0: il est dans tous les cas moins cher et en 2012, il existait d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans plus de 6\u00a0000 stations service en Allemagne. Une raison suffisante de se pencher plus avant sur le VW Caddy Bifuel.<\/p>\n<h2>VW Caddy 1.6 Bifuel avec moteur MPI essence<\/h2>\n<p>Pour le test, le v\u00e9hicule \u00e9tait \u00e9quip\u00e9 du moteur MPI essence \u00e9quip\u00e9 GPL d&rsquo;une cylindr\u00e9e de 1,6 litres fabriqu\u00e9 par le groupe. Le client avait alors le choix entre le 1.2 TSI de 102 CV \u00e0 15\u00a0190 \u20ac et le Gas-Caddy de 98 CV. Le suppl\u00e9ment de 1\u00a0800 \u20ac pour l&rsquo;installation du GPL serait dans la moyenne selon l&rsquo;avis de l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe du test. Au contraire\u00a0: les garages ind\u00e9pendants percent souvent simplement un trou quelque part \u00e0 l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re dans la carrosserie. VW en revanche cache le raccord de gaz en le prot\u00e9geant bien sous la trappe du r\u00e9servoir. La jauge \u00e0 GPL est \u00e9galement int\u00e9gr\u00e9e proprement avec les autres instruments.<\/p>\n<p>Tout va bien jusque l\u00e0. Mais qu&rsquo;en est-il des performances de conduite du VW Caddy 1.6 Bifuel\u00a0? Lors du test, le moteur se met en marche en mode GPL presque instantan\u00e9ment. Selon les experts, le Caddy supporte bien mieux le GPL que par exemple le Skoda Octavia break \u00e9quip\u00e9 du m\u00eame moteur, le poids plus faible du v\u00e9hicule de livraison entrant en jeu. En ville, le VW se d\u00e9place \u00e0 r\u00e9gime faible et s&rsquo;int\u00e8gre parfaitement \u00e0 la circulation.<\/p>\n<h2>Pas une sportive, mais \u00e9conomique<\/h2>\n<p>Les r\u00e9dacteurs du magazine trouvent le trajet sur autoroute moins agr\u00e9able\u00a0: d\u00e8s 120 km\/h, les bruits dans l&rsquo;habitacle deviennent presque insupportables, le moteur tournant \u00e0 4\u00a0000 tr\/min. Il n&rsquo;est donc pas surprenant que les testeurs auraient appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 un sixi\u00e8me rapport. Selon eux, les petits sprints pour d\u00e9passer un autre v\u00e9hicule requi\u00e8rent de la r\u00e9flexion. En effet, le Caddy ne fait preuve d&rsquo;agilit\u00e9 \u00e0 grande vitesse que lorsque l&rsquo;on r\u00e9trograde. En cinqui\u00e8me, le passage de 60 \u00e0 100 km\/h dure pratiquement 23 secondes, une \u00e9ternit\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Pour compenser cet inconv\u00e9nient, le VW Caddy 1.6 Bifuel brille lorsqu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit de la consommation. Sur le parcours d&rsquo;essai normalis\u00e9, le transporteur a consomm\u00e9 10,9 litres de GPL aux 100 kilom\u00e8tres, soit un co\u00fbt total de 8,30 \u20ac. Cette bonne op\u00e9ration a fini de ramener le sourire sur le visage des testeurs.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous ne devez pas tracter une remorque et si vous roulez surtout en ville, le 1.6 Bifuel constitue une bonne alternative.
