TruckScout24 steps up to the Bundesliga

As Europe’s leading marketplace for commercial and recreational vehicles, TruckScout24 has long been the first choice for buying and selling trucks, vans, construction machinery, motorhomes and more. Now, as part of the Machineseeker Group, the platform is stepping onto the country’s biggest sporting stage: Germany’s Bundesliga.

TruckScout24 is expanding its presence in German professional football: from the 2026/27 season, the platform is an official sponsor of six Bundesliga clubs – SV Werder Bremen, 1. FC Köln, Borussia Mönchengladbach, 1. FC Union Berlin, FC Augsburg and SC Paderborn 07. Two further top-flight clubs, VfB Stuttgart and 1. FSV Mainz 05, are covered through its sister brand Machineseeker. That brings the Machineseeker Group’s presence to eight clubs in total, making it – by number of sponsored clubs – the league’s second-largest sponsor.

The partnership comes to life at every home game through so-called Cam Carpets: three-dimensional advertising surfaces positioned right beside the goals that keep the brands firmly in the television picture. With 17 home games per club each season, TruckScout24 appears live on television 102 times a season – and the Machineseeker Group 136 times in total.

“We’re backing up our market leadership in Europe with the largest sponsorship in our company’s history. Our business model is built on delivering highly qualified buyer enquiries to our customers – and that means generating attention, continuously,” says Sven Schmidt, Co-CEO of the Machineseeker Group.

The Bundesliga is broadcast internationally across more than 200 countries and territories. That constant visibility raises TruckScout24’s profile and drives prospective buyers straight to the marketplace: sellers on TruckScout24 benefit from more enquiries per listing, and faster sales at the best possible prices.

Largest sponsor of the 2nd Bundesliga (2019–2023)

From 2019 to 2023, the Machineseeker Group was the largest sponsor of the 2nd Bundesliga for four straight seasons, appearing with a total of 16 clubs over that period: VfL Bochum 1848, SV Sandhausen, SG Dynamo Dresden, VfL Osnabrück, Hannover 96, DSC Arminia Bielefeld, 1. FC Nürnberg, FC Erzgebirge Aue, SC Paderborn 07, Eintracht Braunschweig, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, 1. FC Magdeburg, Holstein Kiel, SSV Jahn Regensburg, FC Ingolstadt 04 and F.C. Hansa Rostock.

At the heart of that engagement were the TruckScout24 and Machineseeker brands on the perimeter boards at partner clubs’ home games – at times placed deliberately during stoppage time in both halves, the phases of play that draw the most attention. In the 2022/23 season alone, around 6.8 million spectators attended 2nd Bundesliga matches.
