# 10: DAF XF 530


The four-axled XF 530 opens up our top 10 of the strongest trucks on the market. With a pull weight of 80 tons, a MX-13 engine with 12-speed TraXon transmission and a torque of 2600 Nm at 1000 to 1425 rpm, the XF is the top model of the Dutch truck company.

# 9: Kenworth W990


Retro on the outside, modern on the inside: The Kenworth W990 combines luxury features and high quality with great reliability. With its 12.9-litre PACCAR MX-13 engine, the long-nose delivers a powerful 565 hp, making it perfectly easy to transport heavy payloads.



With a Cursor 13 diesel engine, 570 hp from 12.9 litres capacity and a torque of 2500 Nm at 1000 to 1605 rpm, the Iveco S-Way ranks number 8 among the super trucks.

# 7: Scania R 580


The Scania R 580 draws 580 hp from a 16.4-litre engine and speeds down the highway with 2950 Nm at 1000 to 1350 rpm. Our lucky number seven of the truck giants.

# 6: Peterbilt 389


One of the biggest trucks among the American trucks: From 14.9 litres of diesel, the Peterbilt makes a proud 590 hp and therefore deserves to be ranked 6th in our top ten.

# 5: Mercedes Actros 1863


Our german star of the south! 625 hp from six cylinders and 15.6 litres capacity. The Swabian Mercedes-Benz Actros 1863 shines with a torque of 3000 Nm at 1100 rpm and therefore on position 5 in our ranking.

# 4: MAN TGX 18.640


An in-line six-cylinder D38 engine, 15.5 litres capacity, 3000 Nm torque and 640 hp – this is the MAN TGX 18.640 and also our number 4 in the ranking.

# 3: Scania R 730


Strong, stronger, Scania! This supertruck is one of the most powerful trucks on the market: eight cylinders, a 16.4 litre capacity, 730 hp and 3500 Nm of torque.

# 2: Volvo FH 16 750


A beauty on the outside, a beast on the inside: With an additional 20 hp the Volvo FH 16 750 is even more powerful than the Scania R 730. 6 cylinders, 16.1 litres capacity and a torque of 3550 Nm at 1050 to 1400 rpm qualify the Volvo as one of the most powerful series-produced trucks in the world and therefore number 2 in our ranking.

# 1: Volvo Iron Knight


Wow! 4.5 tons of weight, but from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.6 seconds. Only Volvo’s Iron Knight is able to manage this thanks to its 12.8 litre capacity, a D13 in-line six-cylinder engine, a torque of 6000 Nm and a proud 2400 hp. The Iron Knight takes the first place in our top ten, making it the King of the Road and a true truck giant.
